ever been influenced by some important person that helped you be the person that you are today? I have been. The people that have had influence on me are the most important human beings, my family.

A family is the first school in which a child receives the basic values of life. He learns good manners in the family. The morals and values learnt in family become our guiding force. They make our character. They lay the foundation of our thinking.

I feel fortunate to be born in a family where values are inculcated in early childhood. But before I begin talking about my family, I want to describe to you the place that we spend most of the time together which also means something important to me and my family. This place is called the family room. This room is small but

cozy. It is painted in melon and has three windows decorated with beautiful curtains. By the windows you can appreciate a nice view of some beautiful trees and a nice garden. On the walls there are some family photos like the ones that show where my brother and I were born, my graduation photo, some family members photos like my grandparents, me and my boyfriend, and some paintings. Also inside this room there is a nice home theater that includes a nice stereo and TV, and a new compact computer. But this is not all, this room has some very comfortable furniture and I can say that they are

comfortable because I use them to watch TV, a movie, or just sit and rest. Also the furniture is used by my

brother to sit and play Nintendo, to study,

or play with the computer. But

from all this furniture there is one chair that is the most cozy chair that I have ever sat

upon and that is my father's

chair. So this is our room, which is

very important to us and has a lot of special things, but the most special part of this room is when it brings my family together. I could begin the book of my life with a picture of my parents. They are important because they helped in my development.

Also, they gave me the things that I needed to grow up in the moment that I needed and they still gave me everything that I needed to become somebody in the future. Among these things is the education that I have received all in my life, my basic needs like food, clothes, medicine, and a place to live, and the most important thing, the love. For example, by being there when I needed somebody to talk to, and giving me speeches when I do something wrong. Also, they care for me when I am sick and they give me the necessary things to get better. They teach me good

values like how to behave, to respect other people, and to share with other people. Sometimes they push me in certain directions and have high expectations for me, but now I really appreciate

everything they have taught me. I

understand why they do

certain things and it is because my parents want the best for me. On certain

occasions I get mad, but later appreciate their words of wisdom and understand. My parents are wonderful. Now, about the rest of my family, my brother, my cousins, my uncles, my grandparents, my nephews, all I can say is they are

wonderful, too. With him I have learned to share, to have fun, and to understand different points of view in different situations. He is younger than me, but that doesn't matter because sometimes people think that because I'm older they know everything and that is not true, we can learn from those younger than us too. Also I have shared moments, in which we laughed, or we get sad, but there are always moments that I will remember. My boyfriend and his family are my family too. We're going to marry in two years, so my family is bigger now. There are three of the basic areas that are crucial between the relationship I

have between my boyfriend and I: Trust, Communication and our Unconditional love. It is very simple for some people to be able to fall in love with a person they don't trust or don't love, but it is

also hard to be able to live with that. I belong to a middle class family. There is a lot members in my family.

They are my parents, my brother, my boyfriend, my grandparents, uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins and pets. Our grandfather is the head of the family. He enjoys a commanding position. His decision is final in family matters. Nobody can dare to go against him. Everybody respects him.

He is the guardian of the family. He is a cool and considerate man. He is just and fair. His decision is never influenced by any other. He is a retired teacher. He helps us in our study. Our grandmother makes us hear good stories. My father is a teacher. He is a great disciplinarian. He is sincere and hardworking. He always goes to school in time. My mother is a teacher too. She is soft-natured and caring. She takes great care of us. She does not care for her comfort, for us. She looks after our grandparents. She helps the poor and the needy. She is religious and God-fearing.

Our family has been known for discipline and values. We give great importance to values and morals in life. Since our early childhood we are taught to respect the elders and love the children.

We learn the lesson

of punctuality and

honesty from our grandfather. It is

due to the good education of our grandparents that we could excel both in sports and education. Since our childhood we have been put into the habit of rising early in the morning. This has a natural effect on our health and physical fitness.

Our family is like a heaven. There is peace, prosperity, love and care. The younger’s have regard and respect for the elders while the elders shower them with their love and affection. The instructions

of the elders are followed with great respect. If a member has some problem the whole family is beside him. I am proud of my family. In conclusion, families made the difference in many of the situations that life gives you and without them you would be unable to give

the love and support to your children need which they need to become mature and responsible adults. Thanks to my family today I can say all of

these things to

other people.
