My research topic is on what kinds of food substitutes are there in a common house to dishwashing detergent. It is also to test if fizzy drinks like Pepsi and Sprite have cleaning properties.
I chose this topic because I love drinking fizzy drinks and I came across the rumor that coke had cleaning properties.

I will first use tupperware and disposable packaging for this experiment.
I will then rub grease onto the containers I will have two categories under “soak” and “scrub”.
I will put the containers I will use in ‘soak’ in some of the tested liquid and wait for a week. I will pour some of the liquid on the container used and scrub it.
I will then measure the amount of grease left

I hope to test the rumor that the phosphoric acid in coke has cleaning properties and at the same time find out if there are any substitutes for detergent (maybe even find something that cleans better).
