Before we get all excited about this new technology that is in our reach, lets find out what it is

READY…

A phone built to make lives easier

Computer abilities and connectivity far more advanced than ordinary models.

To have the entire world fit in your pocket

A device that allows the user to install and run more advanced applications of the users choice.

The main question we always have to ask ourselves is how better off would the world be without the immense pressure of wanting to follow the trend of having latest phone. Brands are constantly stating that without this certain model phone, you are missing out. Statistics have shown the change and improvement smart phones have brought our lives and they have also shown the rates at which communication level have dropped in family situations.

It’s weird how people have become completely depended on modern technology. Statistics might not have shown, proved or even researched it but my predictions show that in years to comes technology will have invaded all cognitive and behavioural manner of mankind all over the world and the generations to come. people are now forcefully driven by a horrible stigma that without the Smartphone let alone the latest phone, their lives are somehow missing out on so much or their lives can’t just simply go on.

Through a study conducted by Zokem (A mobile analyst company) the following results were discovered:

A typical Smartphone owner consumes close to 671 minutes a month of messaging.

667 minutes interacting with mobile application. 531 minutes using voice and 422 minutes browsing Web

application.

SO IN OTHER WORDS 23 percent of end user time is spent using voice services,

while 77 percent of time is spent interacting with various Internet-supported apps.

The study, based on Zokem’s Smartphone panels, based on more than 2,200 smart phone users in January 2011.

HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO GO ON DEPENDING ON NAVIGATION SYSTEMS TO GET US FROM POINT ‘A’ TO POINT ‘B’.

WHERE IS THE FUN OF EXPERICING THE WORLD IF THERE IS A LADY IN OUR CARS TELLING US TO ‘TURN RIGHT AFTER 10 MILES’

IF WE HAVE OPTION OF 3G, WE WILL NOT GET TO SEE INDIA, SOMALIA, CHINA AND ETHIOPIA.

TECHNOLOGY HAS BROUGHT US CLOSER AS A WORLD, BUT YET IT HAS ALSO RUINED OUR CHANCES OF US SEEING WHAT WONDERS THE WORLD HAS TO OFFER
