Museum workers are friendly and fun! They can answer my questions.
They can also help me if I get lost.
Lots of people work at this Museum. They wear lab coats, bright shirts
and name tags.
I can get a Museum map in the Group Center. This map will show me where everything is in the Museum.
I will leave my lunch bag in the Group Center. This is where I will
come back to eat lunch today.
When I’m in the Museum, I will stay with my adult.
In the Museum, it’s important to stay safe. These people work here.
They are here to help.
Some of the exhibits are loud but I’ll hear lots of people talking.

The Museum is very big with many things to see.
I may see trains, planes or old cars.
The Coal Mine’s whistle is very loud. It’s OK to cover your ears when
you hear it.
I may see a real Coal Mine!

happy in their Museum home.
I may see baby chicks.
I won’t be scared. This tornado is safe.
It was made for the Museum.
I may see a giant tornado in Science Storms!
The coil is very loud when it goes off!
There is also a Tesla coil on the ceiling in Science Storms.
I’ll see lightning bolts come from the Tesla coil.
Sometimes, exhibits change. It’s fun to see new things!
They can take me to the Information Desk to find out where
there is a quiet place for me.
If I need to find a quiet space today, I can ask my adult.
It’s OK to save some exhibits for another day.
I’ll see so much today, but the Museum is big. I won’t be able to
see everything!
I can’t wait to visit this Museum again.
When I visit the Museum of Science and Industry, I will explore many
exhibits and learn a lot about science.
