The first Theme park opened was the Magic Kingdom. It opened on October 1, 1971.
This was the second park opened at Walt Disney World was EPCOT Center. EPCOT opened on October 1, 1982.
The third park opened May 1, 1989. Hollywood Studios was originally called Disneys MGM Studios.
The final park to open is Animal Kingdom which, opened April 22, 1998.
