Carnival is a festivitie to wear costums. Another things that we do in Carnival are: “La merengada and “La comparsa”. “La merengada”consist in throw “merengue” at the friends or family. “La comparsa” consist in:one boy and one girl goes dancing on the streets.

“La castanyada” is a festivitie that you eat chestnuts and buns.

Christmas is a festivity that celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ. The decorations that we put in Christmas are: Christmas trees and Christmas lights.

• The humans towers consist in do one tower with humans.

The “Festa Major” is a festivity of Vilanova. We celebrate this festivity on the 5th of August. In the “Festa Major” the folk dances do parades.

Sant Jordi is the festivity of the books and the roses.

The boys buy roses for the girls.

It is a festivity that consists in: horses go on the street in a parade.
