My Challenge – Day 5 Persistence Always Wins In Home Based MLM

Hey guys! It’s Kevin Lau here.

Today I have a special guest. We’re in Chicago inside of a mall, pretty much in the middle of nowhere. We’re going to talk about persistence, so let me just pass this over to Jerry Chen.

We’re here in Chicago, and this is what happened. We’re from California, where the weather is warm. As we exited the plane yesterday, it was snowing! It was really cold and we didn’t bring extra clothes.

We tried to just brave the cold weather, but it got so cold I thought my ears would fall off.

We woke up this morning, not feeling like going to the seminar because it was just too cold. I popped out my computer and said lets go look for a mall so we can buy some warm clothes. Half an hour later we’re there at the mall.

It’s April 20th, and we looked everywhere for winter clothes, but they don’t have winter stuff anymore; no more scarfs or ear muffs. So we’re thinking about alternative solutions. Although they’re pretty silly, kitchen/bath towels, children’s clothing, and sweat pants to wrap around our neck would work.

We didn’t get any thing, because it just wasn’t worth it. We took a taxi back to enjoy the seminar. The lesson learned here is if there’s a will, there’s a way. We could have picked up something if we really wanted to keep ourselves warm, even though it would look ridiculous. We were trying to come up with a solution to our problem, brainstorming about mindset and what not.

Kevin is doing a good job with his 30 day challenge. He’s very determined to get this going and not miss a day, so here I am just blabbing about determination.

Kevin and I work together, so I was showing him how I was doing this 5 step process where I’ve generated 30-40 leads a day with just one blog post. I decided to do a test here this weekend at a marketing seminar. I stayed up for about an hour just to write an email to the 200 new leads I generated over the last few days. Maybe I’ll get a few sales from an hour’s work!
