I want to be a teacher when I grow up.There are four keys that I need to follow to become a teacher. Those four things are duties, working conditions and qualifications, current workforce, and employment outlook and career paths.
Teacher
• Prepare and present material to students
• Teach students using an organized plan
• Assign,mark, and grade assignments • Manage and handle classroom
issues• Attend staff and educational
meetings• May supervise student teachers
Duties
• Teacher has to teach where assigned
• Teachers must work for 9 months*-• You have to work through stress.• Teacher must complete their
bachelor's degree• Teachers need some ESL experience • Provincial teaching certificate is a
must.
Working Conditions and Qualifications
• Very large occupational group• Employed from September to June• Salaries similar to annual provincial
average• Employed by provincial school district
service• Teachers distributed relatively
throughout the province• Full time salary is $55,350/year
Current Workforce
• Job openings will open primarily• There's a shortage of trained teachers• BC has trouble filling teaching
acquisitions• Recent graduates typically work part-

Air Traffic Control
• Control flow of air traffic• Issue aircraft departure and landing • Direct activities of all moving aircraft• Monitor progress of flight• Delay or cancel flights• Check flight plans for completeness • Observe,record, and report weather
conditions
Duties
• A normal controlled environment• Maybe an office• You have to work through any
conditions• You may have to work right on the
spot• You have to graduate high school • You have to work under stress

Employment Outlooks and Career Paths
If I had to choose from being a teacher and an Air Traffic control person I'd rather be the Air Traffic control person. This is because you get paid lots more and it seems easier.
