Since the age of 7, hooligans and members of the band, Morgan Molyneux and Ronny Ayres have been best mates. The two of them knew what their dreams were and where they wanted to be but always lacked the motivation because as everyone knows the music industry is a very difficult one to make it in.Jack wright, the drummer of the band, was the total opposite of the other two, in a world of his own, wrestling was his thing. The tight pants and the whole look was not his best but it was what he was interested in. Until he was told the only thing he needed to hear. Girls like guys in bands not guys in ridiculously tight pants grappling other men. This was the start of jacks drumming career because he stopped wrestling straight away and looked for the “coolest” instrument he could find which took him to the drums. They sound cool was another release of energy and frustration. The soon to be discovered prodigy had started on his path to Accepting April.As their manager and father of the lead singer and guitarist, Justin Molyneux was the person to give the first push as he gave Morgan his first guitar and the improvement and passion came naturally afterwards, with his existing interest in music he already knew what Genre he wanted to go in to.Ronny said that after Morgan started guitar he was very excited about the idea of a band, for fun at first and then it became more like a job when they got their first gig. In the words of Morgan “We’ve had more bassists than Ronny because he wasn’t committed and he was unreliable” which Ronny translated to “He was just fuming because I got an acoustic guitar instead of a new bass”as Morgan admitted though the other bassists were not as easy to work with as Ronny because he didn’t have the same kind of bond with the others and the communication was a lot harder as they didn’t understand his music taste or thought process like Ronny did so in the end they took him back and continued to go from strength to strength.Just this shows how it developed from a hobby to a job almost, Morgan seemed to be the only one who genuinely wanted to make it big and do it ‘the old fashioned way’. But that all changed when, as Morgan put it, “we started winning things like battle of the bands” and they said this is when they actually realised they had potential to go further.With that in mind I then asked where they think they’ll be in ten years’ time and they all said Wembley because it would be a huge gig and as we all know the buzz that you would get from performing in a place like that would be amazing.Writing his own songs pretty much since the band started, Morgan has quite the talent for it now and I wanted to know what his songs are actually about and how he comes up with them. He told me that his mind is just always looking for something to write about and his mind is always busy, even when people are speaking to him he is looking to see if that sentence could be used for lyrics. The other thing he said was that the best thing for him to write about is his own personal problems because he can put all his emotion in to it and can feel for himself how it should sound compared to the emotions linked with the memory.
