Initialize an Account – Start the process for activating and

initializing an account.

Profile Management – The list of all available profiles

Product Model – The list of all available product under the profile selected.

SIM – The Sim Card number being initialized.

communicator (TL260GS/TL265GS only)

Ethernet Periodic Test Transmission Interval – If applicable the Test Transmission interval for the

Ethernet channel (TL260GS/TL265GS only)

Rate Plan – depending on the configuration of the communicator the recommended rate plan will be

displayed. If additional data is expected to be used (DLS IV, Encryption) a higher rate plan may be

selected.

Save Changes - saves any changes to the database but does not update the communicator in the field

Save and Send Changes – saves any changes to the database and requests a programming session

with the communicator. If unsuccessful there will be an indication on the top of the screen indicating an

error.

Clear Programming – Clears the programming of the unit and sets the unit to a “Ready To Activate”

state

Deactivate – Deactivates the SIM with the carrier.

SIM – The Sim Number of the current account.

State – The current state of the Sim Card

Activation Date – The activation date with the

carrier

Carrier Sim Status – This will allow you to request

the current state of the Sim Card from the carrier

Rate Plan – The current rate plan for the

Communicator

Firmware Version – The version of the

Communicator

First Programmed On - The date the unit was

first programmed.

Last Programmed On - The date the unit was

last programmed.

Last Saved On - The date the unit was last

programmed but not sent to the unit

Communication Messages – This contains a

listing of all communications between Connect

24 and the unit

Functions– This tab provides the ability to prompt the unit to perform an action. The actions

include sending a test transmission to one of the four receivers and performing a firmware

upgrade.
