1. CONTESTANT TRAVEL DATES

(Only flights after06.00 am)

Your contestant must arrive atBali Airport (DPS), INDONESIA on:TUESDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER 2013 for the start of the Miss World Tour.

All National Winners will be met by Miss World representatives on their arrival atBali airport as they exit customs and taken to the Hotel to join the other contestants.(Please be certain to give us the full flight details including all flights and arrivalTerminal).

Be certain your contestant has the necessary entry visa to enter Indonesia. Somecountries require a visa on arrival. Please ensure your representative has enoughcash (in UK Pounds or US Dollars or Indonesian Rupiah) to cover the cost of thevisa on arrival. Please check the requirements before your contestant departs.

Contestants will be asked to produce their return ticket on arrival.

Departure from: Jakarta Airport (CGK), INDONESIA to be onSUNDAY 29th SEPTEMBER 2013to respective home country.

It is very important that all representatives arrive on 3rd September 2013 as they willbe filming and rehearsing.

Please note: the top 5 placed representatives will be required to stay on inIndonesia for an extra 7 days.

2. FORMAT OF MISS WORLD 2013

The show will comprise of:

Miss World Beauty with a Purpose Miss World Top Fitness / Sports

Miss World Beach Fashion Miss World Talent

Miss World Fashion Top Model Miss World Dances of the World

Miss World Multi-Media Award

3. BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE:

Contestants and Licence Holders will be required to submit a DVD of the work theyhave achieved in their country for charity. This will be presented to a board ofJudges.

The DVD or Video must only contain actual footage of the work being done, not ofyour National Final.

Contestants must bring their DVD with them to Indonesia and give it to the officeimmediately upon their on arrival. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 4thSeptember 2013.

In addition this year, each representatives Beauty with a Purpose project will bedisplayed on her page on the Miss World website. Please urgently send us writtentext and photos of her project, in order for us to add this to the site.

4. TALENT SHOW OPTIONAL

For those wishing to enter the Talent Show; please bring any special clothes, music,accessories and props with you to Indonesia on arrivals day (3rd September 2013)as rehearsals will begin on the first day.

Talent performance categories are: Song, Dance, Musical Instrument or Specialityact. (NO Poetry, Mime, Painting or Monologues).

Dance: Maximum 2 minutes. Music should be in mp3/wav/aiff format on adedicated USB stick or CD.

Song: Music (backing track no singing with existing voices) maximum 3 minutesin mp3/wav/aiff format on a dedicated USB stick or CD.

Musical Instrument: Maximum 3 minutes. Contestants must bring all musicalinstruments with them on 3rd September 2013.

Speciality Act: Maximum 3 minutes. Contestants must bring all props/costumesrequired with them on 3rd September 2013.

To obtain music clearances we require details of the music track including:

Title of the music Composer and / or arranger ArtistPublisher CD number

If we do not receive these details in advance we cannot guarantee that we will gainthe clearance for this to be broadcast. Any famous music cannot be used as we areunable to get clearance for this.

5. DANCES OF THE WORLDAll contestants will be asked to participate in the traditional / typical dance from theircountry. Please note: traditional dances will not be judged, but will be featured onTV. We need a description of the dance which should be no longer than 1 minutelong. Music should be mp3/wav/aiff format on a dedicated USB stick or CD.

It is very important your representative brings with her the traditional dance costumeand music CD on 3rd September 2013 to Indonesia, as traditional dances are being

rehearsed in the first week.

6. Miss World Multimedia Award

Each contestant will have their own section on the Miss World website where theywill be able to give information about themselves, upload photos and video materialand interact through social networks with fans. Contestants will be judged on howthey present their web section. The best presentation will earn fast track points on

the Miss World scoreboard. There will also be daily updates on the contestantssection as we chart their personal progress to the final.

It is therefore VERY IMPORTANT that every contestant provides all of theinformation asked for in the contestant information pages and ensure that they areadministrators on their Miss World facebook page.

8. WORLD DESIGNER AWARD

Your designer is required to provide a description of your Designer Dress, and abiography / photos of themselves.Please add this information to page 5 of the contestant information form. Thisinformation will be added to your contestants page on the Miss World website.

9. GIFTS FOR CHARITY EVENT

a). Please try to make this something unusual, very special, and of good quality.This will raise funds for disadvantaged children at our Charity Auction. Pleasemake sure the gifts are suitable for auction, please no bottles of wine. Beimaginative with your choice.

b) 3 x Flags of your country, size approx. 30cm x 20cm

c). A Book about your country (This will be presented to a specialschool to build up a World Library). This book should be illustrative about yourcountry with beautiful pictures, an educational look at your country.

d). 3 Stones/pebbles/rocks to make a World Rock Garden.

e). Pictures of your national flower/plant/tree with a description of what significanceeach of these may hold.

f). A photo of a famous landmark in your country.

10. CONTESTANTS EXPENSES

Please ensure your national winner has sufficient currency in US Dollars, Euros orSterling to cover any personal expenses. Any personal telephone calls and otherpersonal expenses must be paid on a daily basis.

The Miss World organisation cannot be responsible for excess baggage. Pleaseensure your National Winner has enough cash facilities to cover her arrival andreturn home. She should also have a list of everything her case contains in theevent of luggage being lost. Please ensure luggage is clearly marked with her flightdetails, name, country and marked for Miss World.

The Miss World Organisation cannot be held responsible for any valuables she maybring with her. Please ensure that she has adequate insurance cover for allpersonal belongings.

Please note that we may be asking the top ten contestants to stay on one extraweek, if that is the case they will receive a fee as per the Official entry form.

11. MEDICAL

We recommend you seek advice from your own doctor in respect of any jabs youmay require.

12. URGENT

Please ensure that you return your official entry forms, signed by both your nationalwinner and her parent or guardian, as soon as your national contest has been held.

A good selection of quality photographs and detailed biographies are urgentlyneeded for the web site, souvenir programme and media use, including a head andshoulders shot without crown, tiara or hat.

This year, as part of our Live television broadcast we will be using the officialimages of contestants that you have sent to us.

Therefore, for legal reasons we need each Licence Holder to read the following andsign to agree. Please return this by fax or email to the Miss World Office, urgently.

We confirm that the images sent to the Miss World Office are free ofany copy write. We give permission for the Miss World Office to use
