Moreno Valley College will create a comprehensive college environment that is a vibrant, active, and attractive place where students and the community can learn, collaborate, and succeed.

MVC Facility Master Plan, 2019-2030 (2018) Currently the college’s few permanent buildings are inadequate to support current programs and services and no room for expansion of certificate, degree and transfer programs; 36% of instruction and student support services provided in modular and portable buildings; College lacks adequate science laboratory space (no organic chemistry); inadequate library and learning resources space; has no gymnasium or athletic fields; no visual and performance art space; lacks office and support space to implement student and academic support services for Guided Pathways; All space for law enforcement and fire technology is in leased space (BCTC) FMP Accommodates projected enrollment from current 6,835 FTES (2018) to 13,058 FTES (2030) Preserves existing permanent buildings (with exception of Early Childhood Center) Increases asf from current 154,915 asf to 412,700 asf, mostly new construction and some remodeling existing facility (~ 55,000 asf) New Biological and Science Building (adds organic chemistry lab; dedicated physics lab, engineering) Library/Learning Resource Center Kinesiology Building and athletic fields Visual & Performance Arts building with 500 seat theater New facility for current and future CTE/Allied Health Programs Early College High School (permanent building, 9-12th grade, STEAM emphasis) Permanent facility at MVC/BCTC Education Center Guided Pathways: Facility Plan is based on Guided Pathways with academic and student support services decentralized to location of academic programs
