Conference March 20, 2013 5:30 p – 9:30 p
NECC Technology Center Haverhill, MA
Haverhill and the MV have the potential to attract new industry by developing special resources to support profitable innovation
To take advantage of this opportunity, leaders across sectors need to:
◦ Become familiar with some key terms--like "open innovation" and "co-creation"
◦ Recognize what it takes to support these emerging approaches
◦ Appreciate the assets we already have
◦ Craft a few feasible initiatives that would help us build new capacity--near-term--to support innovation.
The March 20 conference is meant to address the first three.
Our follow-up plan is meant to address the fourth.
◦ Steering committee
◦ Crowd-sourced search for "feasible initiatives"
