Every week in our classrooms, with Mrs. Sirianni, we practiced a song called, One Small Voice.

The song inspired us.

Division 1 set out to save the environment one small project at a time. They wanted to

make you aware about Litterless Lunches

create an environment friendly laundry soap

plan and promote a recycle $ale

re-use broken crayons

promote a walk to school day

reduce energy use in our school by turning off the computers at the end of the day

create Operation Go Green an awareness project

Next, plans had to be put into action

writing and practicing skits

We did it. Laundry soap that was environment friendly but would it clean?

Division 2 students hoped to make their community a better place one kind deed at a time.

First they asked, What is kindness?:

This is what they found out

Next we wrote certificates of appreciation to everyone in the class.

We wrote about everyones good qualities.

After that, we wrote about what kindness looks like and feels like.

Other students volunteered to be Playground Pals.

They help the K/1 students play soccer!

Playground Pals wear yellow pinnies.

They are friendly and helpful.

They have hoops and Frisbees to play with.

We learned that one small kindnesscan make a world of difference!
