Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is a national hero of Turks. He won the successive victories and repelled the invaders bravely and wisely during the Independence War. On October 29th 1923, He founded Turkish Republic after ending Ottoman Empire. He is a unique leader for Turkish People so you can see the pictures and the statues of him everywhere.

Most of the young people, would like to go to good universities after high schools. They have to take exams to enroll a university so they feel very stressed in the last year of the high school.

For boys, if they leave school after high school, they have to do military service when they are 20. If they don’t, they delay their service until after they finish their universities.
