Ryan Blunt, Junior Maurice After appearing in the ensemble of the LHS production of Thoroughly Modern Millie, and as Sasha in last year’s Fiddler, Ryan returns to the our stage to play Maurice, Belle’s father, in Beauty & the Beast. Ryan has also appeared in Lancaster Youth Bureau Summer Theatre Workshop productions including Les Miserables and The Boyfriend. He is a member of the LHS Symphonic Band, Marching Redskins, Show Choir, Vocal Jazz, Men’s Choir, and Concert Choir. An accomplished pianist, Ryan is the accompanist for Mixed Chorus. Ryan studies both voice and piano privately, and his performance of solos for adjudicators has earned him positions in honors ensembles at both the County and State levels, including with the prestigious New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Conference All-State Choir. Ryan is a member of the LHS Academy of Visual and Performing Arts 2015 Cohort.
Michael Brigham, Junior Stage Crew Chief Michael serves as our very able Stage Crew Chief all year long, where he makes use of excellent leadership skills while he staffs and plans for every event that takes place in the LHS Auditorium. Beauty & the Beast marks his third LHS musical, after working on the crews for Thoroughly Modern Millie and Fiddler. He is a member of the LHS Symphonic Band, Men’s Choir and Concert Choir. Mike thanks his family, friends, and girlfriend for helping him to achieve his goals this year, and sends a “shout out” to the crew for helping to make this an amazing season.
KC Burning, Senior Gaston After appearing as Vlad Vlodicoff in Seussical and as Grandpa George in Willy Wonka while at LMS, KC has appeared in the ensemble for the LHS production of The Drowsy Chaperone, as Kenneth in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and as Mordcha in Fiddler. He now takes to the stage in the character role of Gaston in Beauty & the Beast. KC is a member of the LHS Wind Symphony, Men’s Choir and Concert Choir. He brings 14 years of dance training at Barb Denny’s Studio of Dance to his performance tonight.

Dominic Buttino, Senior Crony #2 After playing flute in the pit orchestra for the LMS productions of Seussical and Willy Wonka, and the LHS productions of The Drowsy Chaperone, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Fiddler, Dominic decided to take to the stage as Crony #2 for his senior year and Beauty & the Beast. Dominic has played in Wind Symphony, and is currently a member of Symphonic Band, Men’s Choir, and Concert Choir. Dominic plays flute at St. Vincent de Paul Church, and will sing in this year’s Senior High All-County Choir. Aside from his interest in music, he is also involved with our Cross-Country and Tennis teams, is a member of the LHS Chapter of National Honor Society, English Honor Society; is an officer for the Math Honor Society, is Treasurer for Science Olympiad, and completed the six year UB Gifted Math Program.
Chelsea Cantie, Senior Silly girl #3 A three year member of the LHS Concert Choir, Chelsea appears as one of the zany silly girls in Beauty & the Beast after appearing in the singing and dancing ensembles for the LHS productions of The Drowsy Chaperone, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and last year’s Fiddler. In her years at LMS, Chelsea appeared in the ensemble of Seussical and as Ms. Teavee in Willy Wonka. A voice student of Linda Koziol and a NYSSMA soloist, Chelsea has twice been selected to the Area All-State Choir, and will sing with this year’s Senior High All-County Choir. Aside from music, Chelsea is a member of the Math Honor Society. She plans to attend Daemen College in the fall to be a part of their Physician Assistant program. A huge thank you goes out to all family and friends for all of “the constant love and support along the way”.
Zoe Chmielewski, Junior Silly Girl #2 Zoe is no stranger to the stage. Her appearance as one of the Silly Girls in Beauty & the Beast marks her third LHS musical after appearing as Lucille in Thoroughly Modern Millie and as Frumah Sarah in last year’s Fiddler. Aside from LHS, Zoe appeared as young Joan Crawford in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? at the Alleyway Theatre in Downtown Buffalo; as Janice Vickery in The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds at The New Phoenix Theatre and served as costume mistress for Greater Tuna at the Lancaster Opera House. Zoe has appeared in several Lancaster Youth Bureau Summer Theatre Workshop productions including as a specialty dancer in Les Miserables, Godspell, and The Boyfriend. A member of the 2015 cohort of the LHS Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts, Zoe sings with Concert Choir, Show Choir and Vocal Jazz. She brings 12 years of dance training at the David de Marie Dance Studio and three years of voice training to her performance tonight.

Meghan Curr, Senior Specialty Dancer
Megan appeared in the LHS productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie and Fiddler, and returns to our stage as a specialty dancer in Beauty & the Beast. She is a member of the LHS Show Choir and Concert Choir, and has also appeared in the Lancaster Youth Bureau Summer Theatre Workshop productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Les Miserables. Megan has also appeared in several shows at the Lockport Palace Theatre where some of her favorites were Oklahoma!, The Wizard of Oz, Seussical, Legally Blonde, and Shrek, the Musical. She brings 13 years of dance training at Barb Denny’s School of Dance and voice lessons with Kelly Ersing to her performance tonight. Megan would like to thank her family for their constant love and encouragement, especially to her father for introducing her to the world of theatre. She would also like to give special thanks to her friend Colton for always supporting her in every musical experience they have had together. Robert Dougherty, Junior Lumiere Bobby is enjoying the opportunity to once again play the role of Lumiere which he also played when he was in the St. Mary’s Elementary School production of Beauty & the Beast when he was is 7th grade. You may have seen him as Brett in the LMS production of 13, or in the ensemble of the LHS productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie, or Fiddler. Bobby has performed with the LHS Concert Band, and is currently a member of the Wind Symphony, Marching Redskins, and Men’s Choir. He has also appeared in the Lancaster Youth Bureau Summer Theatre Workshop production of Rock Around the Block. Soon to be an Eagle Scout, Bobby is looking forward to a great senior year and then college.
Devan Fischer, Senior Belle Devan is thrilled to be appearing as Belle in this year’s production of Beauty & the Beast. She appeared in the ensembles of The Drowsy Chaperone and Thoroughly Modern Millie, and as Chava in last year’s Fiddler. Devan is a member of the LHS Concert Choir, and also performs with Vocal Jazz and Show Choir. She is also a member of the LHS Health Care Academy, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Student Union, the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, and is a Senior Class officer. In the fall, Devan will be attending college to major in speech-language pathology.

Megan Holton, Senior Pit Orchestra/Bass Clarinet & Flute Megan returns to the orchestra pit to play in her fourth LHS musical, after playing for The Drowsy Chaperone, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Fiddler. Her interests began while at LMS where she played in the pit for Seussical and worked on stage crew for Willy Wonka. Megan is a member of Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, the Marching Redskins, CKSO, Concert Choir, Symphony Orchestra, Woodwind Choir, and Vocal Jazz. Her performance of solos for adjudications has earned her positions in honors ensembles at both the County and State levels, as well as for the New York State Band Director’s Association (NYSBDA) Honors Band. She has also given of her talents to the pit orchestras for the Lancaster Youth Bureau’s Summer Theatre Workshop productions of Les Miserables and The Boyfriend. A member of the LHS Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, she is also a member of the Senior Class Executive Board. Laura Jeziorski, Senior Ensemble Laura has been singing in choir since 4th grade and is currently a member of the LHS Concert Choir. She played Pepper in her 3rd grade production of Annie, appeared in the ensembles of Seussical and Willy Wonka at LMS, and in ensembles of Thoroughly Modern Millie and Beauty & the Beast here at LHS. She has been taking college courses in Math in preparation for attending college in the fall to major in math. Laura enjoys writing and drawing. She sends thanks to her family for their support and to her sister for “all the notes”.
Sydney Kelly, Senior Ensemble Sydney appeared in the ensemble of the LMS production of Seussical and as a specialty dancer in Willy Wonka. Here at LHS, she has been in the ensemble of Thoroughly Modern Millie and now Beauty & the Beast. A member of the 2014 cohort of the LHS Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts, Sydney appeared as Cabana Girl in the Academy’s production of Trouble at the Tropicana, and as Candy in Dealt A Deadly Hand. She is a five-year member of the Marching Redskins, plays in Symphonic Band, and sings in Vocal Jazz and Mixed Chorus where she is currently serving as president. Sydney plans on going to college in the fall to study sociology.
