FUN. – We Are Young

The opening shots of this music video are close ups of the band going from the lead singer to the pianist, to the guitarist and keyboard player and then back to the singer. This is to establish the different musicians in the band, and also to establish that this is a performance video with the band on the stage. All in the same uniform – smart clothing(shirt, tie, suit etc. (for the woman in the band, a smart dress still formally black to match the rest of the band))

We are then given an establishing shot of where the band are performing, which is in a bar(quite posh, not a general bar but a fresh maybe more expensive bar) with people buying drinks, women and men, people sitting at the bar talking etc. – stereotypical behaviour at a bar. Special slow motion effects have been added to this scenes, with slightly blurred out corners and a warm vibrant saturation and colour correction.

The bar then breaks into a large fight with everyone included, people fighting, pushing, throwing objects. Explosive effects are used to make it look like the piano is exploding when in a shot of the pianist. Slow motion is used throughout this and shots of performance/ shots of the band are shown in between camera shots of the bar and people fighting.
