• Taylor’s full name is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born on December 13th, 1989.

• Taylor was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. However she grew up in Wyomissing, nearby. Her family then moved to Nashville, Tennessee.

• She has a brother called Austin Swift and her parents names are Scott Kingsley Swift and Andrea Swift.

• Austin was born on 11th March 1992.• She plays guitar, piano, banjo, ukulele and vocals.

• Taylor Swift is most famous for her singing rather than her acting career. For example: she was in Valentine’s Day.

• The songs we all know her for are: Trouble, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Blank Space, Style, Bad Blood and Love Story.

• Her highest position in the charts is 1st with her newest song, Bad Blood and Love Story.

• She has also done a song with Ed Sheeran back in 2012. Their song reached an impressive 13th place in the UK Charts.

• Taylor was inspired by many actresses, and that was followed by her appearances in Valentines Day, The Giver and The Lorax.

Unusual facts

• She was named Taylor so that if someone saw her name on a business card, they wouldn’t know if she were a boy or a girl.

• An engineer taught Taylor her first three chords on guitar, and inspired her first song, Lucky You.

• Her first high school boyfriend, who left her for her friend, inspired the bitter son Picture to Burn.

• She used to live on a Christmas tree farm when she was young.

• In 2013, she appeared on an episode of New Girl.• Her favourite desert is cheesecake.
