About Ernest Hood:
Ernest Hood has been an artist and entrepreneur since childhood. He was born with the gifts of drawing,
painting and business. As a youngster, he sharpened his skills working with his father, a renowned sign painter
and muralist. Then he launched his own art & commerce career in middle school where he sold sketches of
students’ school pictures for a small fee.
He went on to perfect his precision hand practices with another set of tools- shears & clippers. By the age of 15,
Ernest was one of the top barbers in Denver where he grew up. Later he moved to Atlanta and for the past 10
years has been significant force in the grooming, arts and culture movement of the city.
