sulfuric form/nd bisulfat de amoniu. Amoniacul pus 'n libertate prin alcalini"are puternic
este distilat titrat i exprimat 'n echi!alent a"ot iar acesta este multiplicat cu factorul de
con!ertire i exprimat 'n echi!alent proteine.Mod de lucru, Minerali"area. Din produsul de anali"at se c/ntre te la balan a
analitic o cantitate de 2 g care se introduce 'n balonul *+eldahl. 0e adaug 2 ml acid
sulfuric (d 14) 5&1 g de cupru i 2&5 g sulfat de potasiu.
0e folosesc instala ii de minerali"are cu captarea !aporilor prin trompa de apa.
Partea superioar a g/tului balonului se introduce 'n dispo"iti!ul de exhaustare.
0e 'ncl"e te progresi! pentru e!itarea spumrii. 6a 'nceput lichidul capt o tent
brun&negricioas apoi se clarific treptat. Minerali"area se consider terminat c/ndlichidul de!ine perfect limpede nu mai are tent glbuie iar pe pere ii balonului n&au
rmas particule neatacate. Din acest moment se mai continu fierberea 'nc 3 minute.
Dup rcire minerali"atul capt o tent albstrui&!er"uie imprimat de catali"ator (sulfat
de cupru).
Minerali"area trebuie condus cu aten ie 'n a a fel 'nc/t ni!elul de condensare a
!aporilor de acid sulfuric s nu dep easc treimea superioar a g/tului balonului. Prin
minerali"are for at se pot produce pierderi de a"ot. Aceast opera iune durea" 4 7 8 ore
(produsele cu con inut mare de grsime se minerali"ea" mai greu).
Distilarea amoniacului i do"area a"otului. Minerali"atul rcit se trece cantitati! cu
ap distilat 'n balon cotat de 2 ml. -ntruc/t adaosul de ap peste minerali"at produce
reac ie puternic exoterm este necesar ca apa s se adauge 'n fir sub ire sub agitarea
balonului i prin prelingere pe pere ii acestuia iar balonul s se in sub +et de ap rece.
Dup rcire balonul cotat se completea" la semn apoi se omogeni"ea" bine prin
rsturnri repetate. Pentru asigurarea unei omogeni"ri perfecte con inutul balonului
cotat se poate trans!a"a 'n 9rlenma:er de 3 ml.
Din lichidul omogeni"at se masoar cu exactitate 5 ml care se introduc 'n balonul
de distilare cu cca. 25 ml ap (capacitatea balonului de distilare trebuie s fie de ;5 7
1ml). -n paharul colector se pune un !olum de 273 ml acid sulfuric solu ie 1 < i
c/te!a picturi de solu ie indicator. 0e 'nchide circuitul de distilare a!/nd gri+ ca alon+a
refrigerentului s fie cufundat 'n solu ia de acid din paharul colector. -n acest moment se
adaug 'n balonul de distilare prin p/lnia cu robinet sau cu clem 8 ml hidroxid de sodiu
solu ie 3= i se omogeni"ea" prin agitarea u oara a balonului. Pentru ca circuitul de
distilare s fie perfect 'nchis dup adugarea solu iei de hidroxid de sodiu i 'nchiderea

adugarea solu iei de hidroxid de sodiu. Pentru a !erifica acest lucru 'n momentul 'n care
se introduce lichidul de distilat 'n balon se adaug i c/te!a picturi de solu ie alcoolic de fenolftalein sau o h/rtie ro ie de turnesol.
Distilarea trebuie sa aib un ritm moderat. Dup ce s&au colectat cca. 2 ml se
coboar paharul colector 'n a a fel 'nc/t extremitatea tubului refrigerentului s fie
deasupra ni!elului lichidului colectat. Cu a+utorul unei pipete se spal tubul refrigerentului
(lichidul de splare trebuie s cad 'n paharul colector). Pentru a !erifica sf/r itul
distilrii se 'ncearc o pictur ce curge din refrigerant cu o h/rtie de turnesol care nu
