Book Week and Readathon Book Week is coming! From the 27th to 31st of July we are having another exciting Book Week with a book fair, author visits, class story swap, a book character parade and many more exciting activities. We’re kicking Book Week off on the first day of term with our Readathon. This is a chance for the children to gain sponsorship for reading lots of books. More details will follow next week. Parent Helpers & Visitors We are noticing an increasing number of parents and visitors entering the school grounds between 8.45am and 2.45pm without reporting to the office. All visitors to the school must report to the office to sign in and receive a visitors pass, in the event of an emergency we are able to ensure everyone is accounted for but most importantly this procedure ensures our students are kept safe. If you are not an employee of the school and are on the school grounds between 8.45am and 2.45pm you must report to the office and carry a visible pass. Please do not be offended if you are approached by a staff member and asked to report to the office. We need to work together to ensure the safety of all members of the Murrays Bay community.
