Dogs at school We do not allow dogs in our buildings so a reminder to keep them outside please. Room 10 Earthwise Raffle Room 10 aims to make a concrete and wood Taniwha for the area over by the Oak Tree as part of their PrEP venture this year. Please bring along your loose change and be in to win one of these amazing hamper. Earthwise have donated 2 amazing baskets of goodies! Their high quality, natural and ecofriendly products could be yours! Each hamper if worth over $150! Sign up for a raffle ticket (or three) before school (8.158.30) or after school (2.55 3.15pm) outside the Library from Thursday 18th June to support Room 10. One ticket = $2 or Three tickets for $5 Hangi Lunch An opportunity for students to enjoy a hangi roll for lunch on Thursday 2nd July pork or chicken rolls or vegetarian option.  Book Week and Readathon Book Week is coming!  From the 27th to 31st of July we are having another exciting Book Week with a book fair, author visits, class story swap, a book character parade and many more exciting activities.  We’re kicking Book Week off on the first day of term with our Readathon.  This is a chance for the children to gain sponsorship for reading lots of books. More details will follow next week.    Parent Helpers & Visitors We are noticing an increasing number of parents and visitors entering the school grounds between 8.45am and 2.45pm without reporting to the office. All visitors to the school must report to the office to sign in and receive a visitors pass, in the event of an emergency we are able to ensure everyone is accounted for but most importantly this procedure ensures our students are kept safe. If you are not an employee of the school and are on the school grounds between 8.45am and 2.45pm you must report to the office and carry a visible pass.  Please do not be offended if you are approached by a staff member and asked to report to the office. We need to work together to ensure the safety of all members of the Murrays Bay community.  Trivial Pursuit Night This Friday 19th of June starting at 7pm in Waipapa.  Huge thanks to the following families and organisations for their amazing donations! Thank you to the Hames family for the Bays Podiatry voucher valued at
