Transcript of Munited Sonntag 3103
Dear Diary,
Today we have been in the Think Coffee. Ob-viously it didn‘t work, as I haven‘t started to think about my life as co-head. What is the meaning of this job, why are we here and why am I sharing a room with Augus-tinus when I could have the famous Munited-Team? Nobody knows. Maybe tomorrow I will find the answer.
Furthermore, I was surprised by the number of our delegates. How have they all managed to pass the american border? Especially that indian guy. Very suspect. I will bear in mind to check him twice when he enters my room. I should install additional security measures soon.
Have a nice night and sweet dreams,Andi-Bandi

Sunday, 1.4.2012End of editing:
Côte d‘Ivoire is present and voting!8:30 AM. The Lobby of the Marriott NYC is starting the morning in peaceful silence. Tourists and Businesspeople are passing by, not even thinking about what is going to happen in around 30 minutes.8:45 AM. Still nothing. A small group of young students is passing by, the staff of a nearby restaurant is crossing the lobby in or-der to reach the workplace in time.9:00 AM. The delegation of Côte d‘Ivoire arrives at the basement of the famous Mar-riott Marquis. 25 young and eager delegates, highly motivated, highly educated and high-ly skilled. Ready to fight for the rights and positions of a small western african country with the french name Côte d‘Ivoire, often mistaken. Ready to show other countrys, that a high GDP is not an indicator for qua-lified delegate work. But for now: even if the skills are excessive, even if the motivation is
as high as the funds for the WFP in Somalia: to get in the perfect mun-mood, a extensi-ve mock session is about to start. Therefore the delegation traveled with the subway to the famous „Think Coffee“ in order to give themself the final cut. Training at its best with a surprising guest as chairman.

Diplomat‘s Dressguide
Dear noble delegative readers:Never, never, never ever knock on the mu-nited-bureau-door after 2AM. The nicest re-venge would be a full day of photo-support in your committee.Every other penalty shall not be named yet.
Andreas diary. Tensing, striking, boring.
“There are no American infidels in Baghdad. Never! [...] They are stupid” (dramatic pause) “and they are condemned”. Bagdad Bob, or, with his real name Mohammed Said Al Sahhaf clearly lost this race. Although he is one of the greatest irakian comedians, and obviously the proof, that muslims can have humor his second job as leader of the irakian information ministry obviously bought him not the well deserved luck. After years of “wars, won by irak” and “strikes, defended by the glorious nation of allah” his career ended unfortunaly not with a great talkshow on Al Jiddiz TV.
Silvio Berlusconi is a typical italian friend of young and beatiful women. Is there any other reason needed to be our favorite politician of the day? Of course not! Silvio has the ability to speak without any fear to friends (“Obama is beautiful, trained and tanned!) and enemys (“They say: “Silvio go home!”. That insults me very much! I always have to say, that i don’t know which one of my beautiful houses is ment now!). This, and his favour for calling his numerous affairs during EU-Meetings are clear reasons to vote Silvio as winner of the daily diplomat’s dressguide.

Dear noble delegates, what is wrong with your body-language? In this world a good speaker has an easy game, because he can influence his audience. Not only trough his voice, structure and interpunktuation, but also trough his outer appearance! So the first question is now: How can you use the typical expressions of professional speakers to improve your speaking skills?- Avoid reading from books, notebooks, ipads or sheets directly on the table. Once you are “locked” on a written speech, it becomes far harder to continue speaking without sticking to the exact text. This leads
to the classical “look-down-and-speaking-with-the-table”. - Set your body in a full upright and locked position. MUN-Speeches are quite short, so it becomes very tempting to stick near the table, or even worse: Near the chair you just left. But resist the urge to put your body in a “triangle”-position, stand in a straight and upright way, if your hands can’t touch the table while doing this, find something else.- Don’t act too busy. Even if you know that you have to finish the speech in a few seconds: Stay cool, your audience will thank you.
The perfect delegate
Wir führen jetzt eine neue Regel ein: Wer nicht abstimmt, wird verprügelt! We will introduce a new rule: Whoever is not voting will be beaten up!Côte d‘Ivoire, GA2
