Project Mundesi is about bringing together different members of the youth community of Kukës by using creative arts as a tool. We hope

that from our pictures you will experience some of the joy and focused work of everybody that took part.

The project activities took place during 2009 in Kukës, north-east Albania and in Öjebyn, north Sweden. The first activity was a seminar in Kukës focusing on sharing practice and how to use arts as a tool for including disabled and non-disabled people. The participants were representatives from different organizations, parents and students.

Aktivitetet e projektit u zhvilluan gjate 2009 ne Kukes, veri-lindje te Shqiperise dhe ne Öjebyn, veriu i Suedise. Aktiviteti i pare ishte nje seminar ne Kukes mbi shkembimin e eksperiences dhe menyren e shfrytezimit te arteve si mjet perfshires i atyre pa dhe me aftesi te kufizuara. Pjesmarresit ishin perfaqesues nga organizata te ndryshme, prinder dhe studenta.

The seminar in June was followed by workshops in mu-

sic and drama in August. During these workshops the participants expe-rienced working together in an inclusive environ-ment using expressive arts to tell their life stories.

historite e jetes se tyre. The participants during the first two days were students, members from ALB-AID and young people from the area.

Children and teachers from the Culture Centre and the Social Service Centre worked together with the team for one day. The workshops were led by Sophia Alexandersson and

Lars Lundberg, Sweden and Mike Fry, England.

Pjesmarresit ne dy ditet e para ishin studente, anetare te ALB-AID dhe te rinje nga Rajoni. Ndersa, femijet dhe

mesueset nga Qendra Kulturore dhe Qendra e Sherbimit Social punuan me grupin nje dite te tere. Workshopi u drejtua nga Sophia Alexandersson dhe Lars Lundberg, Suedez dhe Mike

Fry, nga Anglia.In November a group of four people from Kukës traveled to north Sweden and participated in a

Share Music course as training and gaining experience for future work in Kukës area.

Our hope is that the project will be a long-term collaboration and raise awareness and integration of disabled people in the region. The project also hopes to give the young people the skills and confidence to go forward in their lives.

Project Mundesi is a collaboration between Share Music Sweden and Youth in Free Initiative. The project was funded by the Swedish Institute and with support from Department of Art and Cultural development, Region Västra Götaland.

Shpresojme qe projekti do te jete nje bashkepunim afat-gjate ne sherbim te ndergjegjesimit dhe integrimit te personave me aftesi te kufizuar ne Rajon. Gjithashtu, projekti synon t’i aftesoje dhe siguroje te rinjte per te vazhduar perpara ne jeten e tyre.

Projekti ‘Mundesi’ eshte nje bashkepunim ndermjet organizates Suedeze per Shkembimin Muzikor dhe Rinis ne Sipermarrjen e Lire Kukes, Albania. Projekti ishte financuar nga Instituti Suedez dhe me mbeshtetjen e Departamentit te Artit dhe Zhvillimit Kulturor, Rajoni Västra Götaland.
