Film editing is part of the post production process of film making but today editors have become part of the shooting team even on location. As editing involves the selection and combining of shots into sequences, and ultimately creating a finished motion picture. It is an art of story telling. Film editing is the only art that is unique to cinema, separating film-making from other art forms that preceded it. Film editing is often referred to as the "invisible art" because when it is well-practiced, the viewer can become so engaged that he or she is not even aware of the editor's work. We train students in actual Edit Studios with latest tools & techniques right from capturing the raw footage the Mastering of the Final Program.SYLLABUS
