Brand new four-by-four KAMAZ 4326defense vehicle having the payload of 4 tonshas been built based on KAMAZ 43114 vehiclein a short time thanks to good operational prac-tice of KAMAZ vehicles with the Armed Forces,KAMAZ owned service network and some de-sign allowances.
KAMAZ 4326 has had a new engine,original frame and suspension. The remainingunits and installations have been uni ed withthose of series-produced KAMAZ 43114: gear -box of model 142, double-disk clutch, transfercase of model 65111, steering of model 43114,KAMA-1260 tires, high-roofed cab, 4800x2420mm platform.
Military experts from frontier troops whoare in charge of vehicle eld tests stated thatthe vehicles are in complete compliance withthe requirements placed on vehicles, whichare in service with frontier troops. They alsomentioned remarkable reliability, high maneu-verability, smooth motion and high driveabilityof KAMAZ 4326 vehicles.

A sophisticated layout and designallowances of previous generation modelKAMAZ 4310 provided for thorough updateof this vehicle. As a result, KAMAZ 43114 de -fense vehicle was developed in 1991.
The new vehicle, which resembles itspredecessors, Z-4310 vehicle, has anew and reliable engine, a modi ed gearbox ofmodel 142, a transmission with interaxle andcross-axle differentials, centralized tire in a -tion system, a modi ed transfer case, enforcedpropeller shafts, new low and top gear shift-ing mechanism, extra fuel tank, high-roofedcab, KAMA-1260-1 wide cross-section tires ofincreased capacity. All of the above featuresprovide for high maneuverability in most dif -cult elds.

KAMAZ 43502, a 4x4 two-axle high-sid -ed all-wheel drive prime mover is intended totransport different cargos, people (if required),to tow trailers and pull-type devices on anyroads and terrain. The truck can operate in anyclimatic zones and mountainous terrain up to4000m high above sea level, the height of thepass being up to 4655m.
Due to a powerful engine and ten-speedgearbox, KAMAZ 43502 has high power anddynamic properties and low fuel consumption.
The truck has KAMAZ 740.30-260engine of 191 kWt (260 h.p.) complying withEuro-2 environmental regulations.
Driving axles have cross-axle differen-tial lock. It signi cantly increases cross-countryability of a truck and traf c safety.
Trucks have 425/85 R 21 or 390/80R20(upon the customers choice) tube tires (op-tion: tubeless tires).

KAMAZ 4911, a 4x4 two-axle all-wheeldrive special purpose (multipurpose) truck isintended for hauling operations, for immedi-ate delivery of different cargos (people, if re-quired), to tow trailers and pull-type devices onany roads and terrain. All KAMAZ trucks of this family havepowerful air brakes, centralized tire in ationsystem. To increase safety, the cab is equippedwith an additional integrated safety frame.

Here is KAMAZ 6560, a four-axle 8x8off-road truck. Gross vehicle weight is 38 tons;gross combination weight comes to 50 tons.
A powerful KAMAZ 740.63-400 (400h.p.) engine and automatic ZF gearbox withtorque converter provide for high power anddynamic properties of the truck operating onhard surface roads and in dif cult terrain.
All KAMAZ trucks of this type have airbrakes, ABS, tire in ation system. With the an -tiroll bar on front and rear suspensions the ve-hicle turns at a great speed, the danger of roll-ing over being excluded. As an option, KAMAZinstalls a retarder and ASR in trucks operatingin mountains.
Trucks have 16.00 R 20 tube tires (op -tion: tubeless tires). Upon the customers re -quest, 14.00 R 20 tires can be mounted on atruck.
A strong frame with sidemembers ofuniform section and continuous reinforcingagents lengthwise increase reliability and sta-bility of the truck on the road.
Containers, vans, platforms and cranesof different types can be mounted on KAMAZ6560 truck chassis.
