SAARC SUMMITIndia hosted the 5th meeting of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Health Ministeries in New Delhi. The 5th meeting was on 9 April 2015 and was being held in pursuance of decisions taken by the SAARC Summit of Heads of States held at Kathmandu in November 2014.Purpose of the meeting- The meeting deliberated on key issues including HIV-AIDS, prevention of non-communicable and communicable diseases and to strengthen collaborations amongst the member nations.Frame a road map for strengthening collaboration among SAARC countries on a number of issues and challenges faced by them.
Modi delivered his maiden speech in the sixty-ninth session of the United Nations General Assembly on 27
September 2014, Where he called for reform and expansion of
united nations security council including india's long standing demand of a permanent membership.
He had also argued why un should serve as g-all for global governance instead of several parallel sub-groupings like g7, g20 etc.
In the wake of isis threat in west Asia Urged for immediate implementation of
'Comprehensive On International Terrorism' by the UN and offered India's pro-active role in it citing India as a victim of terrorism for decades.
Modi commented briefly on climate change and use of clean energy, in this regards he also asked world leaders and UN officials for observing INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY, emphasizing the importance of incorporating yoga in modern day life style.

THE 12TH INDIA-ASEAN SUMMIT WAS ON 2 MARCH 2015 , WAS MODI'S FIRST APPEARANCE IN AN ASEAN MEET.
STRESSING ON THE IMPORTANCE ASEAN COMMANDS IN INDIA'S FOREIGN POLICY MODI HAS REPEATEDLY REMARKED THAT HIS GOVT HAS IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS MADE RELATION WITH ASEAN A TOP PRIORITY AND TURNED INDIA'S TWO DECADE OLD 'LOOK EAST POLICY' INTO 'ACT EAST POLICY' WHICH REFLECTS A RENEWED MOMENTUM IN INDIA'S APPROACH TOWARD ASEAN NATIONS.
HE TWO SIDES ALSO DISCUSSED THE SCOPE OF EXTENDING THE EXISTING FREE TRADE AGREEMENT ON SERVICE SECTOR AS WELL AND WAYS TO INCREASE INDIA-ASEAN TRADE WHICH IS EXPECTED TO REACH US$100 BILLION IN 2015.
HE CALLED FOR GREATER CONNECTIVITY WITH THE SOUTHEAST ASIAN COUNTRIES AND MENTIONED THAT "INDIA AND ASEAN CAN BE 'GREAT PARTNERS'“
MODI ALSO STRESSED ON THREE 'C'S TO STRENGTHEN THE RELATION AND THOSE ARE COMMERCE, CONNECTIVITY AND CULTURAL LINKS.
BRICS summitThe brics summit was on 14-16 july. THE
NEXT BRICSSUMMIT WILL BE HELD THIS YEAR 8-9 JULY 2015. and a reserve
currency pool worth an additional US$100 billion.
IT MAINLY AIMS AT THE CREATION Of the NEW DEVELOPMENT BANK THAT HAS
BEEN ONE OF THE TOP PRIORITY ISSUES THAT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED SO FAR IN ALL BRICS SUMMIT IN AN ATTEMPT TO BY PASS
WESTERN-DOMINATED INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND (IMF) AND THE WORLD BANK. ARGENTINA, EGYPT, IRAN, NIGERIA
AND SYRIA HAVE ALSO SHOWN KEEN INTEREST IN JOINING BRICS IN THE NEAR
FUTURE.
G-20 SUMMITFor the first time in 2014 india was represented
by prime minister modi. The host and president of 2014 summit australia's tony
abbott intended the summit to focus exclusively on revamping the crisis prone
fragile economy and to add US$2 trillion in the global economy by additional 2% global GDP
growth rate for the next five years but countries like US was more keen to discuss issues of climate change and reduction of carbon emission as it sealed a similar pact
with china. India's interest was also aligned with abbott as it wants to reboot its economy
and return to the high growth trajectory soon.
