District Conference @ Sandersville UMC Sunday, March 31, 2019 - 4:00 pm

You are encouraged to attend District Conference at Sandersville UMC on Sunday, March 31 at 4:00 p.m. After a short business session, we will join other Methodists from the North Central District in packing meals for Rise Against Hunger. Participants who come to the District Conference on March 31 will have the opportunity to pack over 10,000 meals for the hungry. According to RAH, “821 million people don’t receive enough nutrition to lead an active and healthy life.” Volunteers can make a difference for 1 in 9 chronically hungry people by partnering with RAH.

Flowering of the Easter Cross

On Easter Sunday morning members of Mulberry are asked to bring flowers from their yards or gardens to place on the cross in Mulberry’s courtyard. The cross will be covered in greenery and chicken wire and flowers will be easily placed on the cross. Please bring flowers to the courtyard prior to Sunday school. This beautiful blooming cross will symbolize our risen Christ to all who pass by our church home after Easter.
