get the best of both systems? Our unique Hybrid Sys-tem which we call Flex (2 patents pending) has the pow-er of the hydraulics combined with the precision of the electronic control. Low power requirement of only 8,5 kw and averaging only 4,5 kw while punching. Besides being able to set the length of up and down stroke, the Flex System for each tool lets you set:

• Flex System allows the operator to adjust the punch’s from 10 up to 2.000 strokes/min and acceleration and hold the ram at height of the stroke, hence allowing special function like Continuous Forming, Engraving, Bending, Marking, Thread Tapping (position accuracy of 0.05 mm). • All work on the machine must be carried out by qual-ified personnel under the constant supervision of the person in charge of maintenance.

• We recommended standard toolings from recom-mended manufacturers for our authorized dealers…

Environmental conditions··········································································• The area where the installation operations are to be car-

ried out must be clean, dry and tidy. Avoid the accumula-tion of materials in the immediate vicinity.

• To ensure correct operation of all parts of the machine, the environmental conditions should be the following:

-Room temperature ranging from 10° e 30°C -Humidity 30 - 80% .• The lighting system of the machine’s work area is of es-

sential importance in order to clearly read the indications given on the machine and ensure a safe use by means of the operator both during operation and maintenance.

Electrical connections··········································································• The machine is hooked up to power by connecting the

power supply cord to a disconnect (supplied by custom-er) using cables of a suitable size (4 x 2.5 mm2). Make sure the fuses, voltage and frequency ratings of your disconnect comply with the standards and codes in the user’s country.

- Never install the punching machine within the same cir-cuit powering machinery operating at a higher voltage, or welding/stapling machines since these could cause the voltage level to drop and damage the CNC of the punching machines.

- Never install the machines within the same circuit pow-ering machines with other frequency ratings, in order to prevent the electromagnetic field damaging the CNC or other electrical components of the punching machine.

- A separate grounding system is highly recommended - In areas where the voltage level is not constant, we

recommend the use of an isolation transformer or UPS to protect the machine.

• Connection to the electricity supply must be performed with the power supply line disconnected, by qualified and explicitly authorised electricians and always in com-pliance with the safety rules and codes in force in your locality.

• Ensure that the factory supply line fulfils the voltage and frequency requirements of the machine, which are print-ed on the machine plate.

• Provide the electrical connections with cables of a suita-ble size (4x2.5 mm2). The classification of the wire must fulfil the equipment’s voltage and temperature require-ments. Use only fuses of an adequate type and with suit-able voltage ratings.
