1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 Scope

This document provides the list of acronyms and abbreviations together with their explanations which shall be used within the MTG contract.

1.2 Applicability

This document shall be a reference document for all the documents of the MTG contract at all the levels (system, satellite, instruments, sub-systems, units). Specific acronyms could nevertheless be proposed or recalled in each MTG document to complement this list.

By another hand, the document [AD-26C-02] provides a short list of key definitions used in MTG documentation to identify spacecraft elements.
