Programme Objectives
The programme aims to:• Allow Microsoft Partners (particularly SMEs) to engage
in IT apprenticeships through collaboration• Allow all Microsoft partners to actively recruit the
apprentices as full-time employees on day one of the apprenticeship.
• Fast-track Apprentice productivity to the Partner• Work with nationally recognised Grade I Training
Providers (Zenos)
Details of Programme
• 7 month intensive learning
• Spilt into 4 parts:1. 3 months – 3 weeks in training, 1 week in workplace2. 1 month in workplace3. 2 months – 3 weeks in training, 1 week in workplace4. Final month in workplace – completed Apprenticeship
• Qualified to:– Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS)– Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)– MCP/ Server– Comptia’s A+ & Network+– National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) for IT Practitioners.– Business & IT and Sales module

Costs
• Apprentice’s wage = £100 per week• Management fee per intake for the service
provided by Microsoft of £750– split into 3 payments
• £250 upon commencement• £250 after 3 months• £250 upon completion of the Programme (7 months)
• The cost of the training will be funded through the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS).
