Always read the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) prior to (before) using any chemical. It will tell you how to handle, store, and dispose of a chemical safely.

If you are shown an MSDS,you must be able to read

1. What is the name of the chemical?

2. What is the chemical formula?

3. How do you store this chemical?

4. Is this chemical flammable?

5. At what temperature will it auto-ignite?

6. What are negative consequences of exposure to this chemical?

7. Should you use protected clothing with this chemical? If so, what should you wear?
