Check the rules, entry forms, and ballots to determine what must be submitted prior toShowdown. Submissions and accompanying entry forms will be mailed [email protected]

For the following competitions, please be sure to write your names ONLY on the entryforms and NOT the physical submitted pieces itself (to remove any potential bias when

being judged): Writing, Poetry, Art, and Photography. Please be sure to include your funame and school name in your email for submission!

Submissions will NOT be accepted after 11:59 pm EST on the day of the deadline. Ifdeadlines are extended, this information will be posted online atwww.msashowdown.com. Participants are responsible for checking website for anydeadline changes.

If you plan on attending showdown, individual registration is required.

Please remember registration is not complete until payment.

If your school does not have enough attendees to put together a team, and you stillwish to compete in the sports competitions, we will do our best to put a team togethefor you. Please indicate this when you register.

general guidelines

UTKMSA reserves the right to disqualify any MSA Showdownparticipant for inappropriate behavior or reasonable suspicion ofdishonest participation.

Any participants who enter a competition late are subject todisqualification to be determined by the judge.

Participants must be wearing their nametag at all times and willnot be allowed to enter event area without proper ID.

Dress code for both brothers and sisters should be loose fittingand not transparent. Feel free to wear your schools MSA shirt ifavailable.

All submissions and accompanying entry forms must be sent [email protected] before the submissiondeadline, unless otherwise stated.

We highly recommend that your school print and bring at leastone copy of this packet, as it contains all rules/scoring/entry

forms. It is your responsibility to check the website for the mostup to date versions of this packet.
