Reader’s Workshop

• Begin year with whole group novel – allows for teaching of skills and procedures. (ELAGSE6RL7)

• Students then read books at their level in groups of 2-4 and apply the skills learned to their own book.

• One whole group novel and 2 Reader’s Workshops (one fiction and one nonfiction) per semester.
