• The Common Core State Standards were developed to prepare students with essential 21st Century Skills needed to be “College and Career-Ready”

• Rigorous concepts will be introduced to develop critical thinkers in grades K-12!

• The AIMS exam will be replaced with the PARCC exam beginning in Spring 2015

• Our math program is called Investigations Math.

• The goal of this program is to develop students who understand math concepts and are efficient and flexible when solving problems.

• Students must learn their multiplication and division facts this year thru 12s. [Goal = 100 in 5 min.]

At this time, we’re planning our field trip destinations.

The cost of these activities this year will range from $25.00-$35.00 per student including transportation. As extracurricular activities, our funding for field trips is extremely limited.
