Monday Introduction Write your answers down
What is an Angle? Write down as many facts below as you can remember about Angles.
Once have finished writing down the facts watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JSk0DC5q4g

Look at the pictures on the right, of different angle types, and the angle descriptions below:
An acute angle is less than 90°
A right angle equals 90°
An obtuse angle is between 90° and 180°.
A straight angle equals 180°.
A reflex angle is between 180° and 360°.
Learning Intention
We are learning to identify, classify, compare and measure angles in our everyday life.

Monday activity – All groups
Part 1: Comparing angles to right anglesTask: To find and take photos of different angles you can find around your house and outside.
Steps:1. Take photos of different angles you can find (greater than,
smaller than and equal to right angles)2. Use an application to draw over the angle (on the
computer you can use Paint, iPad you can use lets draw, Notes or other drawing apps or you can print and draw on them)
Classify the angles as greater than, equal to or smaller than a right angle.
Bonus Points if you can find one example of each a right angle, straight angle, reflex angle and obtuse angle.

Friday Activity - Common Assessment TaskPick 1 activity: Both activities are to be drawn:Name or Robot What's in a Name? -
This one is another great activity. I would like you to use
grid paper on the next slide for this activity, but it's not
necessary. Students write their names in block letters (all
straight lines) on the paper.
Then, using a protractor, have the students measure all the angles they can find in their names.
