Sketchbook Assignments Sketchbooks are an indispensable part of every artists life! It is

where skills are strengthened and ideas are recorded and worked through. They are essential in developing creativity! Often

sketchbooks are used in preparation for upcoming projects and practicing various skills. It should be a place where artists are

completely free to experiment and find their visual voice.

Each week students will have a sketchbook assignment that will be due on the

Monday of the following week.

Students should spend at least 30 minutes on each assignment

Drawings should fill the ENTIRE sketchbook page

(points will be deducted for small drawings.

Include DETAILS (include textures & value, unless otherwise specified.)

Sketchbook assignments should be colored or shaded completely.

I have read the syllabus and understand what is expected of me during this course. If I have any questions or comments, I can contact Mrs. Tatum at [email protected]. Student Signature:______________________________ Parent Signature:_________________________________
