KLEEFELD SCHOOL PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL Due to in school classes being suspended by the Province of Manitoba, PAC meetings are canceed. We
look forward to when we wi be able to resume in school learning and our regular PAC meeting schedule.
BAND / MUSIC @ KLEEFELD SCHOOL The closure of schools has had a great impact on our band and music program at Kleefeld School. The rst
eect was that our Band Bash Fundraiser (Thursday, March 19) was canceed. Since then, the Province of Manitoba has closed in school learning indenitely. This has aected the remainder of the band and musical
events for this school year (grade seven band @ Optimist Festival, grade six orientation for grade seven event, spring musicale, grade eight band trip, grade seven/eight June concert). Undoubtedly we a have many questions surrounding the cancelation of these events. We are in contact with HSD and the Province of Manitoba for directives. Once we receive that information, we wi pass it on to you.

CLASS REQUESTS We are fast approaching the time of year where we wi be creating classes for next year. There are a number of factors which are considered as classes are being created. One of those factors is that students have a friend in their classes. Normay, teachers coect this information from their students
in school. This year is not normal - so, please could students and/or parents notify their students’ homeroom teacher with a list of 5 friends. We need to receive these lists by Monday morning, April 27 . After this date, we wi do our best to connect students with friends based on teacher observations. Another type of request we receive from parents is class placement requests. Parents wishing to request students’ placement in a specic classroom should be made by the morning of Monday, April 27 . After this date, adjustments wi be made only in the direst of circumstances. It should also be noted, that while we do not guarantee or promise class placements, we wi try our best to honour those requests.
