Instructions for Cutting:
Load images using the General workflow on the patient list Right click and select MIP Window/Level most soft tissue structures out and use the free ROI tool to cut of facial and skull
anatomy. Take care to not cut any vessel anatomy Right click and select Batch Wizard to create rotation and tumble (Uncut rotation/tumble) Cut out everything except posterior Circulation Right click and select Batch Wizard to create rotation and tumble (Posterior rotation/tumble) Select “reverse” on the right side of the screen while using the free ROI tool Use the free ROI tool to once again cut out facial and skull anatomy while taking care to leave all
vessel anatomy Right click and select Batch Wizard to create rotation and tumble (Anterior rotation/tumble) Place the image in a LT lateral view by striking the “L” key on the keyboard and then hit the
down arrow one time Right click and select Batch Wizard to create rotation (Anterior Oblique rotation1) Place the image in a LT lateral view by striking the “L” key on the keyboard and then hit the up
arrow one time Right click and select Batch Wizard to create rotation (Anterior Oblique rotation2) Place the image in AP view by striking the “A” key on the keyboard and then using the free ROI
tool cut out the RT Internal Carotid artery Place the image in LT lateral view by striking the “L” key on the keyboard Right click and select Batch Wizard to create rotation (LT internal carotid rotation) Select “undo” on the right side of the screen while using the free ROI tool Place the image in AP view by striking the “A” key on the keyboard and then using the free ROI
tool cut out the LT Internal Carotid artery Place the image in LT lateral view by striking the “L” key on the keyboard Right click and select Batch Wizard to create rotation (RT internal carotid rotation)
