On this day around the nation students stand united in kindness, acceptance and inclusion. Mr. Wallace kindly volunteered his time to deliver motivational assemblies to our grades 1-6 students. Mr. Wallace was very professional and delivered very appropriate messages regarding bullying. He had students engaged and had some participate at times during both assemblies. His approach was sincere and honest. Mr. Wallace shared his own personal story in order to offer inspiration to the student body. Chavez School is very grateful Mr. Wallace extended himself to our school on Unity Day. He did an amazing job! Teachers as well as students enjoyed the presentations. He was able to skillfully connect with students and present on a very important topic in schools today. On behalf of the Cesar E. Chavez staff, students and families we thank him once again for generously giving his time to prepare and deliver the presentations. Suzanne Grajeda Assistant Principal
