I Undonhurst | Great Gardino At P helps Lane Babylon Town Supervisor Aaron Barnett announced that another gala weekend of en- tertainment is slated for the residents , starting with Friday " evening, August 6th. The highly successful Friday night dance program which features dancing to live adult music on the rear patio of the Phelps Land Town Park will start at 8:30 p.m. Saturday evening will feature a return engagement of the highly popular and suc- cessful hypnotic demonstration performed by the "Great Gar- dino " . This performance is scheduled for Saturday evening, smarting at 8:30 p.m . and will similarly take place on the rear patio of the Phelps Lane Town Park. On Sunday evening Town residents will be treated to a jazz concert featuring the Joe Ric- cardo Ensemble, consisting of 22 thoroughly professional jazz musician , who will perform in concert starting at 8:30 p.m. Town Recreation Director Richard DiNapoli indicated tha t all these activities are free to Town residents and suggests early arrival to assure choice seating . Stolberg of 497 North Fourth St., and Navy Fireman Apprentice Terry Siele , son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Siele of Riviera Parkway are serving aboard the attack aircraft carrier USS Saratoga with the U.S. Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean . The 15-year-old carrier spent two days in Scotland and is scheduled to visit Spain , Italy, Greece , France and Malta. MR. ud MRS. DOMDilCK SC- HARA of 930 Jackson Ave. recently enjoyed a two-week vacation trip, by car , visiting Montreal , Canada , and touring Vermont and Massachusetts on fiie way home. In Montreal , at Mount Royale , they were im- pressed with beautiful St. Joseph' s Oratorium , the nearby wax museum and Notre Dame College. A recent guest of Sfc John' s Lutheran Church was CHAPLAIN BRUCE DAVID- SON , who serves at Central Islip State Hospital . Chaplain Davidson served as liturgist during the church worship ser- vices. WILLIAM M. REARDON JR., son of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Reardon Sr. of 770 South Fourth St. has been promoted to technical sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He is an air traffic con- troller at Don Muang Royal Thai AFB , Thailand , with a unit of the Air Force Communications Service which provides global communications and air traffic control for the USAF. He is a 1965 graduate of Lindenhurst High School. MR. and MRS. GEORGE APPEL and daughters of Albany Ave. returned home recently from a three-week auto trip to California , during which they visited San Francisco , Disneyland, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite and Rocky Mountain national parks. They also enjoyed a tour of Universal Studios and while in Hollywood , saw film stars Anthony Quinn and Lucille Ball , as well as Mike Farrell, star of the television show, 'The Interns. " . Martinez , a crewmember aboard the combat store ship USS San Diego , recently participated in annual ceremonies honoring Admiral David G. Farragut in the Spanish town of Ciuda ela. GARY A. FRANCIS , Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Francis of 1000 Hawkins Boulevard is now deployed to the central Atlantic aboard the high endurance Coast Guard Cutter Spencer.
