I chose to study Ireland.I want to travel there because that is where my ancestors on

Northern Ireland was created in 1921, when Ireland was partitioned (separated) between Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland by an act of the British parliament.
Unlike Southern Ireland, which would become the Irish Free State in 1922, the majority of the population of Northern Ireland wanted to remain within the United Kingdom.

In 2012, Gross Agricultural Output (GAO) was valued at €6.61 billion. (DAFM) The milk category accounts for the largest share of GAO at 30% while beef accounts for 39%. Other sectors include pig 8%, sheep 4%, cereals and forage plants 17%. 7
Close to 82% of Ireland’s farmland is in pasture, hay and grass silage (grassland), 10% is rough grazing and 8% is in crop production. 7
Ireland’s major natural resources include: natural gas, peat, copper, lead, zinc, silver, barite, gypsum, limestone and dolomite.8
The country's highest point, Carrauntuohill in the far southwest, stands
at 1041 m (3,414 ft.) high. 9 & 10
The western coastline includes numerous sea cliffs. The most famous, and some say the most beautiful in all of Europe, are the Cliff of Moher. They reach a maximum
height of just over 213 m (700 ft.). 11 & 12

The River Shannon at 386 km (240 miles) long is Ireland's longest river. It widens into four loughs (lakes) along its route. 13 & 14
