    Day 01: 11 Aug' 11, Saturday: Arrive Delhi

    Arrive at Delhi airport @ 1100 hrs. Upon arrival meet and assist by ourrepresentative and transfer to hotel. Overnight hotel in Delhi.

    Delhi , the capital of India, has long been thecenter of political and cultural activities. Delhi hasbeen the center of power and politics for thousands of years now. It has resulted into thedevelopment of a rich cultural heritage, which isreflected in the form of architectural edifices suchas Qutub Minar, Humayun tomb, Birla temple, RedFort, India Gate and much more.     The India Gate is the national monument of India. Situated in the heart of New Delhi , IndiaGate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens.Originally known as All India War Memorial, it is a

    prominent landmark in Delhi and commemoratesthe 90,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army wholost their lives while fighting for the British Indian Empire , or more correctly the British Raj in World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. It iscomposed of red sand stone and granite.

    Day 03: 13 Aug' 11, Monday: Delhi/ Jaipur (253 Kms/ 5 hrs driveapprox)

    Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast drive Jaipur - the Capital city of

    Rajasthan and also known as 'Pink City'. Upon arrival check into hotel.Overnight hotel in Jaipur.

    Jaipur, located in the desert lands of Rajasthan isthe first planned city of India and is known as thePink City . This city was once the capital of royalty and is now the capital of the state Rajasthan. Jaipur resembles the taste of the Rajputs and the Royalfamily. At present Jaipur is the major businesscentre for the natives of Rajasthan. In 1853, whenthe Prince of Wales visited Jaipur, the whole city was

    painted pink to welcome him during the regime of Sawai Ram Singh. Today, avenues remain painted in pink, provide a distinctiveappearance to the city, hence the name.

    Day 04: 14 Aug' 11, Tuesday: Jaipur sightseeing

    Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, you will set out to explore the Amberfort (ascending the fort on elephant's back). Amber Fort is anarchitectural delight and consists of some prominent buildings such asthe Diwani-i-am, Kali Temple and Jai Mandir along with magnificentmarble palaces and gardens. Later city sightseeing visiting City Palace,Hawa Mahal 'Palaces of winds' and observatory. Overnight hotel in

    Amber Fort is a stunning and imposing structure.Its construction was started in 1592 by Raja ManSingh I but completed in its present form by Raja

    Jai Singh I. While the Fort is rugged and imposingfrom the outside, its interiors are sprawling, warmand beautifully decorated. The Maotha Lake in itsforeground reflects the crystal clear image of theFort and adds its beauty. The Fort can be reachedby road through a quick drive or an elephant ride,

    which though it takes much more time, is tremendous fun. On reaching the grandSingh Pol gateway and from there onwards is the Jaleb Chowk, the courtyard for disembarking. After breakfast drive to Agra - The cityof Monument of Love "Taj Mahal" ; one of the seven wonders of theWorld, enroute visiting the mysterious ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri - 40kms before Agra; founded by the Mughal Emperor "Akbar the Great" in1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the

    graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, PanchMahal and other Palaces. Continue your drive to Agra. Upon arrivalcheck into your hotel. Later take a sightseeing tour of Agra; visiting the

    Taj Mahal - a monument to love built in 1630 by Mughal EmperorShahjahan in the memory for his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, Red fort -the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in1566 and Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb - the tomb of Emperor Jehangir'sfather-in-law.     Kathmandu. The town of Pokhara itself, at an altitude of just 900 m onthe Seti Khola river is overshadowed by the fishtail mountain (6999 m),one of the most beautiful mountain of the world. Upon arrival check in tohotel. Afternoon stroll around the Lake side. The skyline of Pokhara isdominated by breathtaking Annapurna range crowned by Fishtail Peak(it has never been scaled). The reflection of the range in Phewa Lake is abreathtaking sight. The leisurely stay watching the mountains atPokhara marks the perfect culmination of the trip. Remaining day free atleisure.
