for the purposes of photographyarrJ.f r tourism, without an entry permit issued by the Forest Department'validity of the permit.- The permit issued under sub-rule (1) shall be valid for asingle entry or fcrr he period mentioned in the permit.Entry Fee.- The fees payable for the entry permits mentioned in sub-rule (1) shall beas follows:

' j - 9 -(b) Excursions by vehicles inside National Park/Sanctuary will be permitted only
between half an hour before sunrise and up to half an hour after sunset. Actualentry and exit times shall be determined by the concerned FieldDirector/ Director/ Divisional Forest Officer of the National Park/ Sanctuary.
Entry and Special Fees:(a) Children up to 5 years of age (accompanied by adults) shall be exempted from
payment of entry fee and elephant ride fee in all the National Parks/Sanctuariesof the State.
(b) Authofized study tours of students belonging to educational institutions,schools, colleges, universities shall be charged 50% of the entry fee if priorinformation is given. This facility shall be allowed to an institution only once ayear and shall be limited to only one visit. Students/trainees, trainers andsupport staff of the training and research institutions of different State ForestDepartments and the Ministry of Environment and Forest, will be entitled forfree entr5r. The Chief Wildlife Warden, Field Director or the Conservator ofForests, under special circumstances, can permit free entry to any person orgroup.
(c)The officer in-charge of a protected area shall have the powers to impose specialrates at double the ordinary rate, for any sensitive or premiumareas/routes/activities, through a written order, in order to regulate the impacton wildlife and environment resulting from the tourist traffic after giving at leasttwo month notice, in consultation with the Chief Wild Life Warden.
Miscellaneous:The Chief Wildlife Warden ffiay, if deemed necessary, limit the number ofvehicles entering a protected area, on the basis of its carrying capacity.
