#MountainConnect
All things WirelessThis track will consist of topics including Public Safety/FirstNet, Mobile infrastructure, Wi-Fi, Fixed Wireless, and Millimeter Wave technologies.
Community DevelopmentMany communities are at different stages of broadband development, from conceptual planning to implementing Smart City infrastructure over existing fiber and wireless infrastructure. In this track, we will cover Broadband Planning, Market Analysis, Financing Options, Policy, and Critical Infrastructure.
Public SafetyTechnology shifts are converging the requirements of our critical communications systems (transportation, public safety, 9-1-1, utilities, etc.). In order to address these impacts we must begin to collaborate across institutional silos and create a comprehensive vision that leverages infrastructure investments and ensures systems work together.
Smart CityThis track will consist of topics including the Internet of Things, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Telehealth, Distance Learning, and Infrastructure and Technology considerations.
This year we have 4 unique tracks focusing on the following topics:
Mountain Connect 2018 is the 5th anniversary of the premier event for broadband development in the western US.
The 2018 agenda offers information and perspectives on “smart city” infrastructure, broadband development with partnerships, the use of wireless infrastructure, the latest information on FirstNet and an extensive look into
community development options such as “open access” infrastructure.
The speakers, exhibitors and networking opportunities will help community leaders, business owners and broadband providers
develop the infrastructure and capacity of their choice.
Thank you for joining us.
- Audrey Danner and Jeffrey Gavlinski, Co-Chairs of Mountain Connect -
