T he LINK DigiFlex 7200 Frame is designed tohold any single 1000 Series "DigiFlex"module. This allows any module designed for theLINK "DigiFlex" Frame to serve as a stand-aloneunit. Construction of the DigiFlex 7200 consists ofa rugged aluminum case that was custom-designedby LINK Electronics. It is one rack-unit in heightand one half rack unit wide. A rack-mounting trayallows the user to mount two DigiFlex 7200's in a1RU space.

Installing a "DigiFlex" module in the DigiFlex 7200Frame is quick and easy. The module mountshorizontally in slide rails inside the custom chassis.A center "Z-Bracket" provides the 1000 Serieslocking mechanism, insuring secure installation.Module indicator LED's are visible through theremovable screen front cover. Power and signalinput/output connections are provided to themodule through the mating rear cell for that specificmodule.

The AC power entry module features an EMI/RFIfilter. Regulated DC is provided by a highefficiency switching power supply. The powersupply locks securely into the DigiFlex 7200 Frameopposite the "DigiFlex" module.

An internal cooling fan is designed to limit thechassis internal temperature no more than 15ECabove ambient at the maximum operating power of15 watts. The 2.5 CFM capacity fan can exchangethe inside air every few seconds. The 7200 isdesigned for maximum utilization.

In all respects, the DigiFlex 7200 is designed fordependable, high-performance operation. Theframe includes the plug-in power supply. The rearpanel connections are made through the matingrear cell module. A detachable AC powerconnector provides for easy power line disconnect.All Link products are backed by a ten-yearwarranty.
