stroke center, bariatric surgery center, joint replacement center, and baby friendly hospital. We also recently attained our Level III Trauma Certification.We believe in the power of people to create great care. HOSPITAL FACTS• The ICU is a 23-bed, open unit. Nurses

on this unit are caring for all medical, surgical and cardiovascular ICU patients. The facility does about 150 to 200 open heart cases each year. This is a high-acuity unit with great physicians, experienced nurses and great technology.

• The emergency department is a 22-bed department. Annual visits average 36,000 per year. This is a very fast-paced department, but you are surrounded with an excellent team. This includes quality physicians, experienced nurses, with a passion for quality care and that are teamwork-oriented, and a great support staff to assist the nurses. This is also a unit that is well-run, by a great management team, that is very involved with the unit.
