Mount Saint Joseph Wines December 8, 2016
Our Mount Saint Joseph wines are now available at over a dozen local restaurants. The
first to feature our wines were Source Tapas in Granite Bay, Dominick’s in Folsom, Bunz
in Roseville, La Fornaretta in Newcastle, Legends Woodcreek in Roseville and
Farmhaus in Granite Bay. Diners at these restaurants have loved our wines and we
have filled many reorders. In the last few weeks we have added The Chef’s Table in
Rocklin, Granite Bay Country Club in Granite Bay, Taste of Tuscany in Sacramento,
Back Wine Bar and Bistro in Folsom, Le Charenton in Folsom and the Café at Pottery
World in Rocklin. We invite all of our followers to visit these establishments and enjoy
our premium wines with their outstanding cuisine.
A number of other local restaurants have tasted recently and indicated future orders
including Il Fornaio in Roseville, Sienna in El Dorado Hills, Land Ocean in Folsom and
Fabian’s Italian Bistro in Fair Oaks.

Many of you were disappointed that
our 2014 Zinfandel sold out so
quickly. Peter has completed barrel
tasting and blending tests and will
have the 2015 California Zinfandel
available by the end of next month.
He will also have a terrific Rhone
style blend (we will call it Avignon
after the 14th century Provence home
of the Vatican) as well as our 2016
Viognier. White wine lovers …..the
waiting is the hardest part!

Vineyard development continues with
some limited work on the irrigation
system. Winter was always planned to
be a dead period as we wait out the
rains before our much anticipated
Spring planting of one year old
Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot and
Petit Syrah.
Wine club members can look forward
to the Winemaker’s Open House this
month as well as Winemaker dinners
in January, February and March.
