Im concerned about being as healthy as I can be. I recently came across an arcle that had some research about walking briskly for a smaller amount of me than walking leisurely for a longer period of me. The headline said using this new research could add years to your life.I've noced in a lot of research arcles that couldor maybeor shouldis used a lot. What the author is doing is trying to be posive while maintaining a sense of ambiguityabout the research. Ambiguity means there is some uncertaintyabout whether or not this research will actually benefit you personally. I remember when I was a young Chrisan and a teacher pointed out a word in John 3:16 that also presents a sense of ambiguity. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begoen Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasng life (KJV).The word shouldprovides some uncertainty. In English, it is a word used to indicate something condional. As an example, If you invest your money in the right stocks, you should see capital gains. There is a condion if you want to make money; invest in the right stocks. If you lose money then you didnt invest in the right stocks. I dont want to suggest that God is ambiguous about salvaon. He provided an absolute guarantee in His Son. The ambiguity is that we must believe and maintain our faith in order to not perish and receive everlasng life. God created a world in which He made us responsible for our acons. Our acons are not the basis of our salvaon but our acons are needed to receive the salvaon He has secured for us. I hope that I help each of you maintain that faith. -Bob-

help fund her move with cash / debit cards. -Thank you-

A mbiguity I try to keep up with research on exercise and diet. I’m concerned about being as healthy as I can be. I recently came across an article that had some research about walking briskly for a smaller amount of time than walking leisurely for a longer period of time. The

headline said using this new research “could add years to your life.” I've noticed in a lot of research articles that “could” or “maybe” or “should” is used a lot. What the author is doing is trying to be positive while maintaining a sense of “ambiguity” about the research. Ambiguity means there is some “uncertainty” about whether or not this research will actually benefit you personally. I remember when I was a young Christian and a teacher pointed out a word in John 3:16 that also presents a sense of ambiguity. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life (KJV).” The word “should” provides some uncertainty. In English, it is a word used to indicate something conditional. As an example, “If you invest your money in the right stocks, you should see capital gains.” There is a condition if you want to make money; invest in the right stocks. If you lose money then you didn’t invest in the right stocks. I don’t want to suggest that God is ambiguous about salvation. He provided an absolute guarantee in His Son. The ambiguity is that we must believe and maintain our faith in order to not perish and receive everlasting life. God created a world in which He made us responsible for our actions. Our actions are not the basis of our salvation but our actions are needed to receive the salvation He has secured for us. I hope that I help each of you maintain that faith. -Bob-
