The winds aloft are on the increase, and the surface gradient is at 3.7 mb, about half of yesterday. The winds across the top of the mountain increase late morning and afternoon to 65 mph, and about 50 mph at the Top of Pine. The surface gradient is forecasted to be in the 3.5 to 4 mb range through the afternoon, so a windy day. We could see some snow showers, but looking light. The winds are likely to remain stron tonight and into tomorrow, then improve to start the week. Moisture is forecasted to move into the area by Thursday.
