In some applications, the insertion of unit pins replaces moulded or overmoulded connectors to reduce cost , weight and volume of the system. In this case, the connector housing is moved into the fi nished product cover.

AXON’ MECHATRONICS offers a wide range of semi-automatic and automatic insertion machines for inserting pressfi t connections into the PCB. These stand-alone or inline machines can be integra-ted into electronic PCB manufacturing processes.
